During this time, the Camas-born defender has played and won two finals, proving decisive in both with goals that will be forever writ large in the history of Real Madrid.

It also marked Marcelo Vieira’s 400th game in the white shirt. He joined the club in November 2006 and has since become indispensable to Real Madrid, with a total of 287 League appearances, 26 Copa del Rey appearances, 75 Champions League appearances, 6 Spanish Super Cup appearances, 2 European Super Cup appearances and 4 Club World Cup appearances.
