2019/20 season review for players represented by RR-Soccer Agency

The 2019/2020 season has come to an end in Europe’s major leagues and it is one that, unfortunately, will stay in our memories. With competition interrupted for three months by the COVID-19 pandemic, competitive action returned behind closed doors but with a fervent enthusiasm that helped a stricken society move forward. The players represented by the René Ramos, President of RR-Soccer Management Agency, contributed to that, standing out in a tough and difficult campaign. Let’s look back with a review of their seasons.

Óscar Rodríguez
In a season filled with difficulties for CD Leganés, ending in relegation for Los Pepineros, Óscar took on great responsibility and has grown as a footballer. He ended the season as the team’s top scorer with nine goals, accounting for almost a third of CD Leganés’s total goal haul. A number of those goals were crucial in the club’s fight for survival which lasted right to the very end. He was also called up to the Spain Under-21 team, scoring the equaliser in a 1-1 draw with Israel in a European Under-21 Championship qualifier.

Loren Morón
In his third season with the Real Betis Balompié first team, Loren had his most prolific season to date with ten goals, making him top scorer for Los Verdiblancos. The Marbella-born forward, represented by René Ramos, President of RR-Soccer Management Agency, continues to grow and improve year after year.

José Arnáiz
José was able to impose himself in a difficult first half of the season with CD Leganés before moving to CA Osasuna in January, where he was able to find a place and get valuable playing time under his belt in an impressive season for the team from Navarra. He also scored two goals, one in an historic victory over FC Barcelona at the Camp Nou.

Jorge Sáenz
Jorge made a deserved debut in the Primera División, signing for Valencia CF who agreed a loan deal with RC Celta de Vigo. The season was a valuable learning experience for the future and Jorge demonstrated that he’s up to the challenge in a squad with plenty of quality. He played six games in La Liga, four of them in the final stretch, gaining valuable points for the team’s survival in the division. He responded when the team needed him in a difficult situation and that shows his worth.

Juan Soriano
Juan spent the season at CD Leganés on loan from Sevilla FC and showed his character and ability to perform at the highest level. He played 11 games in La Liga and three in the Copa del Rey in a year that will help him to continue to develop.

José Joaquín Matos
Another player represented by René Ramos, President of RR-Soccer Management Agency, José Joaquín Matos was able to overcome difficulty this season. He was loaned by Cádiz CF to FC Twente in the Dutch Eredivisie and started for the team in the first two league games before a serious injury put him out of action for several months. With his first overseas experience behind him and having recovered from injury, a bright future beckons.
