SERGIO RAMOS AND MARCELO SELECTED IN FIFA FIFPRO WORLD11 2018

Defenders Sergio Ramos and Marcelo Vieira have once again been selected in the FIFA FIFPro World11 2018. René Ramos, President of RR-Soccer Management Agency and agent for both players accompanied the pair to the The Best FIFA Football Awards gala held at the Royal Festival Hall in London.

It is Sergio’s ninth, his eighth consecutive, selection in this eleven, which recognises the best players of the 2017-2018 season, voted for by almost 25,000 professional players from 65 countries. It is, without doubt, a great illustration of his consistency and hard work year after year.

For his part, Marcelo was included in the list for fifth time (fourth consecutive). It is a more than deserved reward for his performance on the pitch and his consistency.

Congratulations to both of you and I hope continued to achieve your objectives this season and continue to make history.

Sergio Ramos and Marcelo Vieira, represented by René Ramos, President of RR-Soccer Management Agency, were crowned UEFA Champions League winners on 26 May after Real Madrid defeated Liverpool by 3 goals to 1. It is the third consecutive year they have lifted the trophy, adding to the titles won in Cardiff and Milan. It is, without a doubt, an unprecedented achievement in the history of football.

Sergio made 11 appearances in this season’s UEFA Champions League, with 98 interceptions, one goal and passing accuracy of 93%. The Camas-born central defender is fundamental to the Real Madrid team and has been included in the Team of the Season chosen by a team of UEFA Technical Observers.

For his part, Marcelo also played 11 games, making 47 interceptions and scoring 3 goals. The Brazilian full back was also included in the UEFA Champions League Team of the Season 17/18.

Both players have written a new page in the history of this sport, each now with four UEFA Champions League medals, an achievement reached by very few.

Congratulations to you both. I am very proud of you.

MAY ALL YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE IN 2018

MAY ALL YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE IN 2018

Even though we find ourselves at the half-way point of the season, it’s time to take a look back and take stock of the calendar year. 2017 has been another year to remember for RR-Soccer Management Agency.

We’ve consolidated our activity in the offices in Seville and Las Palmas, inaugurated in 2016. Along with our head office in Madrid, we now have the best team of people to offer a quality service to all our athletes.

2017 was also an unforgettable year for our players. Sergio Ramos and Marcelo, two of our athletes, wrote another page in the history books of Real Madrid, winning the League, UEFA Champions League, European Super Cup, Spanish Supercup, and the FIFA Club World Cup. Both now have 18 honours each with the club, which places them in fifth place in the list of the most successful Real Madrid players of all time in terms of trophies won. These are truly incredible figures and we hope to add to them in the New Year.

At present, we have several players established in the Primera División, including Alexander Szymanowski at CD Leganés and Juankar at Málaga CF (no doubt we’ll see you back on the pitch again soon). I also want to highlight the performances of our athletes in the Segunda División (among them, José Arnaiz, who joined us this year) and in other categories (Óscar Rodríguez, who also joined RR-Soccer in 2017), who are competing every day to achieve their objectives in this beautiful game. To all of you; thank you for trusting in RR-Soccer to manage your careers. You know that in us you have a partner for any need.

During 2017 we have continued our commitment to women’s football, one of our main strategic focusses. We have several athletes competing at the highest level both here in Spain and in leagues overseas.

I also wanted to highlight the work of our partners: the team at Senn, Ferrero, Asociados Sports & Entertainment; Podoactiva; Pedro Chueca; Dr. Antonio Escribano; Francisco Escobar and everyone behind this big family. Thank you for accompanying me in the day-to-day of this dream.

This year, I also had the opportunity to visit Peru alongside Sergio and UNICEF. There, we were able to see first-hand the situation for many children living in precarious conditions as a result of flooding but who, in spite of their situation, are capable of breaking out a smile and approaching each day with happiness. Without a doubt, it was a journey I will remember for my entire life and in which we could learn to be happy with very little.

And so an exciting 2018 awaits; full of challenges and new international expansion projects, among them the opening of a very special new office in Latin America. I hope and wish that it is a year filled with health and happiness, and may all your dreams come true.

All the best,

René Ramos

Sergio Ramos and Marcelo nominated for the Ballon d’Or 2017

Real Madrid players Sergio Ramos and Marcelo Vieira have been selected by France Football on the final list of 30 nominees for the Ballon d’Or 2017.

The French magazine this week announced the list of players who’ll be hoping to pick up this most iconic and prestigious of awards that goes to the best player of the year, voted by journalists.

This is another recognition of the excellent season enjoyed by the two defenders, represented by René Ramos, President of RR-Soccer Management Agency. Since the last edition of the award, they have conquered no less than the Club World Cup, La Liga and Champions League titles.

For Sergio, this is his fifth nomination, including those under the previous FIFA Ballon d’Or format. The Camas-born central defender has become a mainstay in such lists thanks to his leadership, his importance to the team and decisive goals. Not in vain, the Madrid captain stood out last season for his famous last-minute goals.

The inclusion of the Brazilian full back is no surprise either; he has continued to impress on the left flank in both defence and attack.

France Football said, with the release of its special Ballon d’Or supplement, that the centre half was «very happy» to be among those selected and highlighted the importance of «having the mental strength» to never give up in any circumstances and give everything until the end of every game, even in the most adverse circumstances. The magazine underlined the captain’s importance to Real Madrid, both on and off the pitch. Let’s hope the voters take note.

His honours include 3 Champions League titles, 3 European Super Cups, 2 Club World Cups, 4 La Liga titles, 2 Copa del Rey titles and 3 Spanish Supercups.

This contract extension means that Marcelo, who is currently the foreign player who has spent the most seasons at Real Madrid, will reach 16 seasons in the white shirt.

Keep up the great work and continue to enjoy your football, Marcelo. Congratulations!

Real Madrid were crowned European champions for the twelfth time on Saturday June 3 with a 4-1 victory over Juventus in the UEFA Champions League final in Cardiff. Both Sergio Ramos and Marcelo Vieira, represented by René Ramos, President of RR-Soccer Management Agency, played in the final and added Europe’s elite title to their honours for the third time in their careers.

Sergio Ramos continues to make history. The Camas-born central defender was once again a key piece in what was his third European Cup, with 11 appearances, 2 goals and 106 interceptions. Sergio also became the first captain to raise the Champions League trophy in consecutive years.

For his part, Marcelo Vieira continues to consolidate his status as the best left back in the world. The Brazilian played 11 matches in this year’s tournament, again reaffirming his position as the lynchpin of the left flank of Zinedine Zidane’s team.

And so ends a season to remember, with the two defenders collecting La Liga and UEFA Champions League honours, adding more medals to their cabinets and cementing their status as two legendary players.

Congratulations to both.
