RR-Soccer Management Agency is in luck, because its president, René Ramos, and one of its players, Sergio Ramos, were awarded with two different recognitions for their career at the Globe Soccer Awards gala held on Thursday, November 17 in Dubai.
Óscar Rodríguez, represented by René Ramos, president of RR-Soccer Management Agency, is in luck. In just a few days he has seen how his two good seasons at CD Leganés have earned him a contract with Sevilla FC and a first call from the national team directed by Luis Enrique.
The Spaniard has signed with Sevilla FC for five seasons in which he is sure to bring out all his qualities: handling of the ball and spaces, ability to pass… and, of course, that great shot that characterizes him. Óscar arrives at the current Europa League champion, a competition the club has already won a total of six times, after two seasons on loan at CD Leganés and after in Real Madrid’s youth teams. Sevilla is, without a doubt, a demanding and victorious club that will allow him to show and develop all his virtues.
But the good news for our midfielder does not end here. Practically only one year after making his debut with the Under-21 team, with which he also scored an important goal against Israel, the 22-year-old footballer has been called up by Luis Enrique for the absolute national team. Today he will meet for the first time with the coach and his teammates for the UEFA Nations League matches against Germany and Ukraine.
Congratulations, Óscar! Things don’t happen by chance, they happen as a result of work, effort and commitment. Let’s keep working and pushing!
The 2019/2020 season has come to an end in Europe’s major leagues and it is one that, unfortunately, will stay in our memories. With competition interrupted for three months by the COVID-19 pandemic, competitive action returned behind closed doors but with a fervent enthusiasm that helped a stricken society move forward. The players represented by the René Ramos, President of RR-Soccer Management Agency, contributed to that, standing out in a tough and difficult campaign. Let’s look back with a review of their seasons.
In a season filled with difficulties for CD Leganés, ending in relegation for Los Pepineros, Óscar took on great responsibility and has grown as a footballer. He ended the season as the team’s top scorer with nine goals, accounting for almost a third of CD Leganés’s total goal haul. A number of those goals were crucial in the club’s fight for survival which lasted right to the very end. He was also called up to the Spain Under-21 team, scoring the equaliser in a 1-1 draw with Israel in a European Under-21 Championship qualifier.
In his third season with the Real Betis Balompié first team, Loren had his most prolific season to date with ten goals, making him top scorer for Los Verdiblancos. The Marbella-born forward, represented by René Ramos, President of RR-Soccer Management Agency, continues to grow and improve year after year.
José was able to impose himself in a difficult first half of the season with CD Leganés before moving to CA Osasuna in January, where he was able to find a place and get valuable playing time under his belt in an impressive season for the team from Navarra. He also scored two goals, one in an historic victory over FC Barcelona at the Camp Nou.
Jorge made a deserved debut in the Primera División, signing for Valencia CF who agreed a loan deal with RC Celta de Vigo. The season was a valuable learning experience for the future and Jorge demonstrated that he’s up to the challenge in a squad with plenty of quality. He played six games in La Liga, four of them in the final stretch, gaining valuable points for the team’s survival in the division. He responded when the team needed him in a difficult situation and that shows his worth.
Juan spent the season at CD Leganés on loan from Sevilla FC and showed his character and ability to perform at the highest level. He played 11 games in La Liga and three in the Copa del Rey in a year that will help him to continue to develop.
José Joaquín Matos
Another player represented by René Ramos, President of RR-Soccer Management Agency, José Joaquín Matos was able to overcome difficulty this season. He was loaned by Cádiz CF to FC Twente in the Dutch Eredivisie and started for the team in the first two league games before a serious injury put him out of action for several months. With his first overseas experience behind him and having recovered from injury, a bright future beckons.
The Real Madrid and Spanish national team captain, represented by René Ramos, President of RR-Soccer Management Agency continues to add to his legendary status. In the strangest of seasons and a difficult one for football and for all of society, disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown which brought the competition to a halt for three months, Sergio was able to tackle an unknown situation and lead the response of Real Madrid.
The captain completed his highest scoring season ever with 11 goals; six of them in the 11 matches played post-lockdown, and lifted the league title, having already won the Spanish Supercup earlier in the season. This season also saw him become the most capped player in the history of the Spanish national team, reach 650 appearances for Real Madrid (with 22 titles in that time, just one short of Paco Gento’s record) and also surpass the 100-goal mark in the white shirt. Sergio, there are no words.
The central defender from Camas, represented by René Ramos, made his 500th appearance with Real Madrid on Saturday. The defender, who joined the club in the summer of 2005 at just 19 years old, hit this milestone on 11 February 2017 in Pamplona in a match against Osasuna, becoming the 12th player in the history of this club to play 500 matches.
Since joining Real Madrid over 11 seasons ago, Ramos has racked up a total of 13 titles (2 Champions League, 3 La Ligas, 2 World Cups, 2 Spanish King’s Cups, 2 UEFA Super Cups and 2 Spanish Super Cups), including game-changing goals in the two European Cup finals that earned Real Madrid its Décima and Undécima wins.
As a central defender, Ramos has also managed to score 66 goals with Real Madrid to become the club’s third highest scoring defender, coming in behind the historic Roberto Carlos (with 68 goals) and Fernando Hierro (127).
By competition, Ramos has appeared with Real Madrid in:
- 350 La Liga matches
- 96 European Cup matches
- 39 King’s Cups
- 10 Super Cup matches in Spain
- 3 Club World Cup matches
- 2 UEFA Super Cup matches
This is another incredible milestone for the Real Madrid captain, who, true to form, will surely strive to continually excel and reach even more milestones.
Congratulations, Sergio! The pride I feel as your representative and brother cannot be expressed in words.
You’ve done it again. You’re incredible. Yesterday I had the honour of accompanying you to Zurich once again to attend The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony. Like last year, you were both chosen by thousands of professional footballers from all over the world to join the FIFA FIFPro World 11 2016. In other words, you are among the best eleven players on the planet and that’s how you end an unforgettable 2016. As President of RR-Soccer Management Agency, it is a pride to be your agent.
Sergio, brother, there are no words I can say. Those of us who know you know that you work very hard every day, and these awards and recognitions are no coincidence. Your teammates and fans have acknowledged this: you have been the most voted in the UEFA 2016 Team of the Year and now you are again, for the seventh time (sixth time running) in the FIFA FIFPro World 11.
Marcelo, your teammates think the same as me: you are the best winger in the world. It is the third time (second time running) that you appear in the FIFA FIFPro World 11. Your effort and passion for this sport, always with a smile, make you keep up a level within the reach of very few season after season.
My sincere congratulations to both of you. Now it’s time to make history this season.
President of RR-Soccer Management Agency
The Camas-born defender, represented by René Ramos, President of RR Soccer Management Agency, was chosen once again in the UEFA Team of the Year for 2016.
Over seven millions users all over the world selected the team through the website of European football’s governing body. Of the 11 players that make up this edition of the Team of the Year, Sergio received the most votes with a total of 488,908.
It is the sixth time the Real Madrid captain has been chosen for the UEFA Team of the Year and his fifth year in a row to be included. It is, undoubtedly, a fitting way to end an unforgettable year.
Congratulations once again, Sergio!
Although those of us who work in the world of sport tend to think in seasons, it’s always good to pause for a moment and look back at 2016, which has been a year filled with new projects for RR Soccer Management Agency.
We opened new offices in Las Palmas and Seville, the culmination of many years of hard work, adding to our office in Madrid. There is no doubt that we have excellent professionals here at RR Soccer. Your talent, ambition and enthusiasm are the pillars of this agency.
Continuing with this line of expansion, we signed a collaboration agreement with Magnus Sports, the company founded by Marc Anthony, to work together on image rights for our athletes in the American market.
Also, I don’t want to forget about women’s football, which has such potential for growth in our country. We joined Ana Rossell’s company, AR10, in an agreement to foster the growth and professionalization of a sport that is attracting more and more followers both in our country and around the world. As I said on the day we signed the agreement, we believe firmly in women’s football and we’re delighted to offer players all our services and contribute in helping the sport get the recognition and professional treatment it deserves.
Even though we’re only at the halfway point of the season, it has been a year full of success for our athletes. Sergio and Marcelo have written another page in the history books of Real Madrid by winning the Champions League, European Super Cup and Club World Cup. They were also included in the FIFPro World XI 2015. Several of our players are playing in the Segunda División. I’d also like to make special mention of the young footballers and coaches represented by RR Soccer who work every day, at all levels, to achieve their dreams.
We also appreciate the work of our partners and collaborators: Julio Senn, Víctor Alfaro, Pedro Chueca, Dr. Antonio Escribano and Francisco Escobar. Thanks to all of you and your teams, our athletes have access to a range of services that are difficult to match.
I would also like to thank the media. They also help us get our message across and give visibility to all our activities and those of our athletes. They are, without doubt, essential travel companions in the world of sport. You all know that our doors are always open for you here.
I would like to wish you all a happy and prosperous 2017. May this season be, at least, as good as the last. I hope and wish that each and every one of you enjoy good health and that, looking back in 12 months, we can say that it’s been a year to remember.
President, RR-Soccer Management Agency
René Ramos, President of RR-Soccer Management Agency, has signed a collaboration agreement with AR10, the company founded by Ana Rossell, former professional footballer and sports management expert, to foster the growth and professionalization of women’s football. Under the agreement, a new departure of this kind for women’s football, both companies will begin to work together to promote the women’s game in Spain and internationally.
René Ramos said, «We’re very excited about this project. We believe firmly in women’s football and we’re delighted to offer players all our services and contribute in helping the sport get the recognition and professional treatment it deserves.»
For her part, Ana Rossell added that «women’s football needs to be professionalized to continue to grow. That’s why we’re very proud to team up with an agency like RR-Soccer Management Agency, which has a solid track record in the sector.»
Under the agreement RR-Soccer Management Agency will add AR10 to its network of partners, thus confirming its commitment to elite women’s football.
Last Thursday, the opening of RR-Soccer Management Agency’s new Seville office took place. It was a pleasure to see so many friends from the world of sport come together in a city that means so much to me.
On Thursday we unveiled our new office, which represents the culmination of many people’s efforts and sacrifice. Although I’ve been working as an agent for many years, it’s just over 3 years since we started out at our new office in Madrid and since then we have not stopped working to be as close to our athletes as possible.
I am sure that the new office will contribute to continuing to offer a comprehensive advisory service of the highest level. Grassroots football in Andalusia has a bright future and we hope to contribute to shaping future footballers and, above all, people. Because what characterizes our athletes are values like hard work, sacrifice and consistency; aspects that we try to instil in our footballers.
I would like to offer my sincere thanks to the professionals from the world of sport that shared this moment with us. Thank you to the representatives of all clubs in Andalusia. Thank you to the players and coaching staff of Sevilla FC and Real Betis represented by RR-Soccer Management Agency. You know that the doors of this house are always open to you. Thank you to Víctor Alfaro (CEO of Podoactiva), to Ana Rosell and to Adolfo Álvaro Benito (Founder and Owner of Luxury Purple Club) for travelling to Seville to be with us. Thank you, Sergio, for making me so proud to be your brother and agent. And thank you to my father, for showing me that humility and hard work are essential values in life.
We now have offices in Madrid, Las Palmas and Sevilla. We hope to continue with the company’s expansion and we promise that we will continue to work as hard as ever to offer a personalized, quality service to all our athletes.
